VIETNAM WAR UNC $1 COIN IN FOLDER 2003
This coin was brought out by the Royal Australian Mint to commemorate
the service of 50000 Australians in the struggle to maintain the
independence of the non-communist Republic of Vietnam (South
Vietnam) during the 10 years of Australian involvement.
This 2003 dated $1 coin has been struck from aluminum bronze and is
uncirculated. The reverse design features a stylized representation of
the Australian Vietnam Forces National Memorial in Canberra, and
was designed by Vladimir Gottwald. This stunning coin comes to you
housed in a display folder with a cover slip. This is a brilliant looking
coin and serves as a fitting homage to the honor and sacrifice of those
who served.
