2003 SIX COIN UNC SET

This 2003 Six Coin Uncirculated Set has been produced by the Royal
Australian Mint, to pay tribute to over four million Australians, who
give freely of their time to help those around them and the causes they
believe in. The 20 cent coin features a sea of faces such as you would see in any town
or village and any number of which will be a volunteer. The 50 cent
coin features just some of the many volunteer activities that we engage
in, for example: helping provide food to the aged and needy, the
provision of clothing and shelter, caring for children and young people,
helping at sports events and looking after our environment. We also
pay tribute to the Surf Life Savers, and the many who volunteer for
SES and firefighting duty. The $1 coin highlights, in a few words, the
wonderful legacy of Australia's Volunteers…. 'Making a difference'.
The standard reverse design is featured on the 5 cent, 10 cent and $2 coins.
The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth II. The set comes to you complete in a presentation
folder along with a protective slipcase. This set of coins is a great
collectors piece or gift to that special volunteer that you know.
